MOUNT BERNARD OLIVES
Mount Bernard Olives is a small family grove in the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges at Avenel, Victoria. Just one and a half hours north of Melbourne, our farm is located on Mount Bernard, a 489 metre mountain of spectacular granite outcrops, native grasslands and trees and home to kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, koalas, wedge tail eagles and many other birds.
The Goulburn Strathbogie region has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and cool winters ideal for producing premium extra virgin olive oil.
Final 2015 Olive awards are in and we are very pleased to have received Gold for our Picual at Royal Melbourne Fine Foods and Gold and Champion Robust at the National awards; Silvers for Leccino and Frantoio at Royal Sydney Fine Foods; and at the National awards, a Silver for Leccino and Bronze for Frantoio.
